This Isn’t Just My Work.
It’s Personal.
I started Peachtree Pathways after walking this journey with my own mother — and I’m here to help you walk yours.
My Journey
I didn’t set out to become a senior care advisor. Like many families, I arrived here out of love, fear, and urgency.
My journey began when I noticed something wasn’t right with my mom. This wasn’t just typical forgetfulness. She was struggling to collect her thoughts, missing medications, and once, she left the stove on. I realized — she wasn’t safe on her own anymore.
We tried in-home care, but it wasn’t the right fit. It was expensive, inconsistent, and even with help, I was constantly worried. I had young children at home and couldn’t be there for her every day. Moving her in with us wasn’t a real option, and I found myself torn between caring for my mom and caring for my kids — both impossible to do fully.
I started looking into assisted living and memory care communities, but nothing felt clear. I didn’t know what level of care she needed—or what “aging in place” really looked like in these settings. And everything came with a big price tag.
Eventually, with guidance from someone who knew the system, I found the right place. A place that fit not just her medical needs, but her personality and dignity too.
After walking that road with my own mom, I felt called to help other families walk it too. That’s why I started Peachtree Pathways: so you don’t have to feel lost, alone, or out of options. I’ll help you find the right next step — just like someone once helped me.
